- The Derby City Bop Association was founded in 1990 in Louisville, KY. We are dedicated to the preservation of Bop (Jitterbug), Shag, and Swing style dance and the Southern R&B-Blues oriented music common to these styles of dance.
Derby City Bop dances every Tuesday night at Jim Porters Good Time Emporium on Lexington Road in Louisville, KY.
